Spinal Twist

 

The spinal twist helps maintain good rotational mobility in your spine and feels really good if you have been slouched over a desk all day.


Performance Tips


  • Start sitting down on the floor with your legs out in front of you
  • Bend one knee and cross that leg over the other
  • Use your arm as pivot and rotate away from the bent leg
  • Your other arm acts as a balance support
  • Rotate as far as you can, breathe deeply and relax into the stretch
  • Repeat on both sides
