The fitness industry is responsible for a lot of positive things. The endless and unavoidable comparisons to other peoples bodies and physical capabilities is not one of them.
All you can do with exercise is optimise your own physiology. Nothing more.
Certain body proportions and lever lengths will offer a distinct advantage in performing a certain exercise. Certain body types, hormonal influences and propensities to store fat/build muscle will
offer a distinct advantage in achieving a certain look.
Comparing your results to someone else is a waste of time and energy! Embrace your strengths, respect your weaknesses, improve what you can improve, ignore what you can’t.
It’s the only sane way!
